Teenage Cancer Trust

The main GOAL of IMMERSED! festival is aiding the charity Teenage Cancer Trust by collection donations via our event. We hope to raise money through our festival to support this amazing organisation helping these teens and young adults battling cancer.

Teenage Cancer Trust is one of the GLOBAL leaders dedicated to providing specialist care and support by highly experienced experts transforming thousands of young lives. Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 are diagnosed with some form of cancer. Teenage Cancer Trust has 28 specialist hospitals across the UK, which are all provided as homes away from home for all the young people receiving treatment.

Every £1 donated to TCT, 77p will be spent towards helping the young people battling with cancer.

Due to Covid-19 and the change in our festival, we are giving the opportunity to our audience to donate money, through multiple platforms via linktree. Our festival will be streamed on TWITCH which is the world’s leading live stream platform. The site will also contain a DONATION LINK throughout the days of the festival. This platform will give listeners a chance to interact with each other as well as take part in IMMERSED! from the comfort of their own home in a covid safe way. Making it ACESSIBLE and SAFE for anyone wanting to enjoy “live” music and to support a great cause.

Music is a massive part of the heritage of Teenage Cancer Trust. Directed by Patron Roger Daltrey CBE, frontman of The Who, the ROYAL ALBERT HALL curates a show every year to help raise money for the foundation. The charity has a long-standing support of friends and ambassadors in the music industry including Paul McCartney, Oasis, Jessie J as well as up-and-coming artists. This is year the foundation is also joining the ranks of many other artists and events by making their show and ONLINE EXPERIENCE to raise awareness and funds for their charity.

This is what we hope to achieve with IMMERSED! joining our fellow musicians the students at the University of South Wales, Cardiff locals and many others have come together to show our SUPPORT to the cause through this unique online experience.
